FAQs:

Q: Do you play an entire team or individual players?
A: You pick individual players just like regular season Fast Break.

Q: Will players change from run to run?
A: Yes. There will be community votes to bring in new players and trade players to new teams (as long as the player in question has played for that team). We will provide notifications when player movement occurs.

Q: Does every team play everyday?
A: Yes, in this first 10-day run all 30 teams will play everyday. The first game will lock at 7pm ET each night. Every 15 minutes another game will lock and begin until all games are concluded at 10:45pm ET.

Q: What are the prizes?
A: There will be daily prizes for the top 100 finishers which will be a mix of packs filled with historic Moments and Top Shot Credit. Additionally, there will be end of run prizes for the top 240 finishers which will also be a mix of future Rare and Legendary historic Moments, packs with historic Moments and Top Shot Credit. Lastly, anyone who wins at least 5 days will receive a 5-win pack at the end of the run.

Q: Can you use any Moment of a player?
A: Yes. The Moment does not need to be a historical Moment. Any Moment of the player regardless of team in the Moment will be usable.

Q: How does the simulation work?
A: All games are 36 minutes long with all players playing the full 36 minutes. The baseline of their stats is their career averages and they are adjusted for 36 minutes. The simulation also has a lot of variance built in which results in players having a wide range of outcomes. The construction of teams will also come into play with regard to usage, rebounding %, assist % and many other advanced metrics to provide the most realistic simulation results.

Q: Why are some NBA legends who have Moments missing from certain teams?
A: Select players have unique licensing agreements. We are working with our partners to bring all of the game’s greats to Fast Break over time.

Note on Simulated Gameplay:

Historic Fast Break contests are based on historical or hypothetical matchups generated through computer simulations. These simulations may involve fictional game outcomes using real or historic players.

Please note that these are not real events. By participating, entrants acknowledge and agree to accept all simulation-based scoring and results as final, as determined solely at the discretion of NBA Top Shot.
