In our NFT Details tab on a Moment's details page, collectors are able to see an overview of all the minted serials of particular Moment™ NFTs. Specifically, collectors can see how many are owned by collectors (separated into Unlisted, For Sale, and Locked), hidden in packs, in the Locker Room, and burned.
What are Burned Moments?
Once a Moment has been burned, this means that it is destroyed forever and will never be owned by any collector. The total Edition Size will not change and serial numbers for all other Moments will remain unaffected and unchanged.
How can I Burn Moments?
You can participate in Crafting Challenges, certain Leaderboards, or events which allow you to use your Moments to be permanently removed or burned for its associated rewards. This decreases the supply in the NBA Top Shot economy and helps make the Moments more scarce. Check out our article here for more details about Crafting Challenges.
