The Quest is a daily reward system on NBA Top Shot. Collectors can earn a free reward pack every day by completing 5 tasks on the platform. The Quest checklist resets daily, so you'll want to complete all 5 tasks within the same day to claim your reward.

You can access The Quest checklist at nbatopshot.com/quests. This is your home base for tracking daily progress.
How to Complete The Quest
To complete The Quest on NBA Top Shot, you need to finish all 5 tasks on the daily checklist. Each activity on the checklist includes a direct link to that task, so you can click through and knock them out one by one without hunting around the site.
Here are the 5 daily tasks:
- Daily Login: Log into your NBA Top Shot account. Simply visiting the site while logged in counts.
- Buy a Pack (Primary or Secondary): Purchase any pack from the NBA Top Shot store. Both primary packs (bought directly from Top Shot) and secondary packs (bought from the marketplace) count toward completing this task.
- Lock a Moment: Lock any Moment in your collection. You can do this from your collection page by selecting a Moment and choosing the lock option.
- Trade any Moment for a trade ticket: Trade in any Moment from your collection for a trade ticket.
- Play Fastbreak: Submit a lineup for the current day's Fastbreak contest. Important: If you preset your Fastbreak lineups ahead of time (for example, a week ago), you'll need to resubmit a lineup on the current day for the task to register. The submission has to happen today.
Once you complete a task, you'll see a pop-up notification confirming the activity is done, like this:

After you finish all 5 tasks, your checklist will show 5/5 complete with green checkmarks across the board. Here's what that looks like:
Once the Quest is fully complete, a pop-up will appear letting you know your reward has been delivered. You can open your reward pack right away or save it for later.
Troubleshooting
If you're running into issues with The Quest on NBA Top Shot, try these steps:
A task isn't registering after I completed it
There can be a 30-second to 1-minute delay between completing an activity and seeing it reflected on your checklist. Give it a moment and refresh the page.
The Daily Login task won't trigger
If your Daily Login task isn't completing, try logging in using a different browser or opening a private/incognito tab. This clears any cached session data that might be interfering.
My Fastbreak task isn't completing even though I have a lineup set
If you preset your Fastbreak lineups ahead of time, the task won't trigger from an old submission. You need to resubmit a lineup on the current day for it to count. Head to the Fastbreak page and submit (or resubmit) your lineup today.
I bought a pack but it didn't count
Both primary packs and secondary marketplace packs count toward the "Buy a Pack" task. If it still isn't registering, wait 30 seconds to 1 minute and refresh. The system sometimes needs a moment to update.
I've tried everything and it's still not working
