Match Rates
| Tier | Match Rate | Cap |

| All other collectors | 10% | $1,000 maximum reward |
Minimum qualifying spend: $50.
How Your Match Is Calculated
Formula:
Rebate = (New Deposits, Locked Purchase Value) x Match Rate
Your match is based on whichever is lower: the amount you deposited or the value of Moments you purchased and locked. Sales during the window don't reduce your qualifying amount.
Example: You deposit $2,000 on April 14. You buy and lock $2,000 in Moments. Even if you sell $500 in other Moments during the window, your qualifying amount stays at $2,000.
What Counts
- Marketplace Moment purchases that are locked during the window
- Pack purchases where all contents are opened and locked during the window
- Purchases made with funds deposited between April 13 and April 22
What Doesn't Count
- Pre-existing Dapper Balance (funds already in your wallet before April 14)
- Moments purchased but not locked during the window
- Unopened packs
- Boxes and cases
- Funds from same-day withdrawals and redeposits
Frequently Asked Questions
Do sales reduce my qualifying amount?
No. Your match is calculated on deposits and locked purchases only. Selling other Moments during the window doesn't affect your rebate.
What if I deposit more than I spend?
Your match is based on whichever is lower: your new deposits or your locked purchase value. If you deposit $5,000 but only buy and lock $2,000, your qualifying amount is $2,000.
What if I spend more than I deposit?
Same rule applies in reverse. If you deposit $1,000 but buy and lock $3,000 (using some pre-existing balance), your qualifying amount is $1,000. Only the portion backed by new deposits qualifies.
Do pack purchases count?
Yes, but you have to open the pack and lock all the contents during the window. Unopened packs don't count. Boxes and cases are excluded.
When do I get my credits?
Credits land the evening of April 23, 2026 as non-withdrawable Dapper Balance. You can use them to buy on the Marketplace but you can't withdraw them.
How do I check my VIP status?
VIP tiers are based on your lifetime or monthly net spend on NBA Top Shot:
- Bronze: $100K+ lifetime or $2K+ monthly
- Silver: $200K+ lifetime or $5K+ monthly
- Gold: $500K+ lifetime or $10K+ monthly
- Platinum: $1M+ lifetime or $20K+ monthly
VIP collectors earn 15% with no cap. If you're not sure about your status, reach out to vip@meetdapper.com.
Is there a maximum I can earn?
VIPs have no cap. Non-VIP collectors can earn up to $1,000 in Dapper Balance.
